Decided I'd make a new character and go through the Prophecies, and EOTN missions before GW2 comes out to re-familiarize myself with the general story line. So far I'm at Yaks Bend and only have 10k to my name (I blew everything long ago working on my HOM). So anyway, what I'd like suggestions on is gear, and skills for my character. What would be the best cheapest/powerful weapon, and max armor I can get, and what skills would you recommend I use; having only Prophecies, & EOTN. Thanks!

with this economy you can get a max green weapons for less than 10k, and there is no most powerful weapon, its base on your builds, and how you utilize those skills. As for gears, i suggest not buying any, until you reach droknar's forge, where you can buy a set of max armor. Runing your armor is up to you, whatever feels like it would work best.

I respectfully disagree with xgottadollax. As soon as you are in Lion's Arch travel to Eye of the North. In Boreal Station (where you arrive) is an armour npc that sells max lvl armour. You can also do a small quest (hero tutorial simulation) that gives a max lvl req 9 weapon.

As for skills I would suggest looking at http://www.gwpvx.com/PvX_wiki. There are some pretty good builds. Most propably needs Nightfall and Factions. But with a bit of tweaking you should be able to get a nice build ready (keep in mind as a warrior you need a weapon that matches your build).

Thanks! I came across some people doing this exact run today, got some max weapons, and will hopefully have enough money soon to get armor.
